Measure that would remove The limit on the length of study programs that temporary foreign workers can enrol in without a study permit. Prior to this reform, foreign workers could study while working, but only in 6-month or less programmes. They would need to apply for a separate study permit if they intended to register in a lengthier programme. This has created a barrier for foreign workers who want to further their education and acquire additional training, particularly those who need to authenticate their foreign credentials through specific programmes.
